Well, the difficult times of firing a coach and hiring a new one are almost over, with the selection of Urban Meyer by the UF Athletic Assn. I can only hope Mr. Meyer is worth the huge salary they paid to "convince" him to not go to Notre Dame... Meyer's only been head college coach for what, 4-5 years now? It seems that Meyer may look upon the Florida Gators job as a stepping stone to Notre Dame, actually, since he said his colleagues warned him of the pressure at Notre Dame!! Best of luck to you next year, Mr. Meyer-- I hope your critics don't descend upon you as quickly as Coach Zook!!
